MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon are linking up once again for a new collection, the SS25 AVP. The capsule unveils unisex running gear made for the streets, merging sport and style with technically advanced designs that can accompany you in your urban escapades. The capsule includes two sneaker silhouettes as well as apparel.
The linkup features a new upgrade on the XT-4 Mule from the previous collaboration, now in an “Ultramarine” and a white colourway.
But, the main character of the drop is the fresh-out-the-design-studio Spectur 2 sneaker, a new lifestyle take of the classic Salomon running shoe, engineered with a mesh construction, and a chunky rubber sole. The shoe comes in an all-black and a lime colourway. And it’s too clean.
In the apparel department, the collab features caps, a sleek MA-1 utility bomber, graphic tees, a seamless graphic tank with both brands’ logos, and long shorts – all available in black and lime green. A minimalist capsule that mirrors both brands’ aesthetics in the best way. Watch us wear these in our SS25 commutes.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon collection will drop in two phases, on April 17th with the black Spectur 2 shoe, the XT-4 Mule in Ultramarine, and the ready-to-wear. And the second drop is on May 8th with the Spectur in Sea Foam Green, the white XT-Mule, and the backpack.
