London Fashion Week has officially kicked off and the industry is defo keeping busy with a new drop from Pharell and Don Toliver as well as collabs from adidas Originals x OFFGOD:TATE and AMBUSH x UGG. We also went to the MOBOs, some LFW parties and more but without further ado, here's what's good this week.
Patcharavipa Bodiratnangkura brings Aesop’s Aurner fragrance to life
Having released their latest Eau du Parfum “Aurner” - a new floral fragrance with contrasting notes of magnolia leaf, Roman chamomile and cedar heart - Aesop have also accompanied this special release with a special delivery of jewellery (a first for the brand). Collaborating with Patcharavipa Bodiratnangkura, the Bangkok-based jewellery designer brought the emotive tensions of the scent to life with a one-off necklace that features heavily in the campaign as well as an exclusive ear cuff that references the defiant bloom - limited to 400 worldwide. Kiko Kostadinov and Asics come together for the Gel-Kirill III
After what seems like seasonal collabs between the two brands, Kiko Kostadinov and Asics rejoin forces for a new take on the Gel-Kirill III. With a campaign centred around construction workers, the collab shows, yet again, that it’s always about functionality and aesthetics for the two brands.
AMBUSH and Ugg unveil their new capsule with Yoon herself
Fur is in and AMBUSH has capitalised by collabing with UGG on a standout capsule that includes a series of loafers and Mary Janes with fluffy accents - fire af.
OFFGOD:TATE drops their collab collection with adidas Originals
From Airpods Max attachments to real life sculptures and installations, OFFGOD:TATE have taken their creativity to another level by collabing with adidas Originals on a whole capsule. Featuring a fully customised pair of Superstars in two colourways, a leather track jacket and a classic track set with a wider fit and custom prints - one you defo don’t want to miss.
We went to the MOBOs
We went up all the way to Newcastle to attend the MOBOs where we got to chat to the legend himself - Vybz Kartel, Krept & Konan and our friend Jordan Adetunji. We even linked up with LeoStayTrill who taught us how to swing our shoulder.
We partied with OPIA and Converse
With so many events during Fashion Week, it’s hard to pick which one to go to but Converse and OPIA’s night out was one to remember. I mean, there was even an immersive performance, what’s not to love?
