Jacob Elordi is the new Bleu de Chanel man

Chanel has selected Jacob Elordi as the new ambassador of its Bleu de Chanel fragrance, placing the Australian actor at the forefront of one of the house’s most recognisable scent lines

The role marks a defining moment in Elordi’s career as his influence continues to expand beyond films into fashion and luxury. While he has already become a familiar presence at major runway shows and industry events, this appointment positions him as the face of a global fragrance identity, one that has long been tied to a specific vision of modern masculinity.

Since its introduction, Bleu de Chanel has been shaped through carefully constructed campaigns that lean heavily on mood, storytelling, and character. Rather than focusing purely on the product, the brand consistently builds a persona around the wearer. In short, Chanel wants its wearer to be self-directed, confident, and uninterested in following expectations. Elorid’s casting feels like a continuation of that idea.

His screen presence has often balanced nonchalant with intensity, a combination that translates naturally into Chanel’s visual language. This combination of vibes fits within the broader narrative the fragrance has built over time, while still allowing room for interpretation.

Bringing Elordi into the fold also reflects a wider shift in how luxury brands choose their ambassadors. Increasingly, they are aligning with figures who resonate across multiple cultural spaces, from cinema to fashion to digital audiences. Elordi’s rising global profile and  distinct personal style make him the perfect choice for connecting with a younger, style-conscious generation.

As he steps into the role, Bleu de Chanel enters another phase of its evolution. It’s maintaining its established identity while subtly recalibrating it through a new face.
