Patta has teamed up with FC Barcelona to unite a new generation of fans. Patta has a longstanding reputation for producing football-inspired jerseys, and the latest collaboration allows the two brands to further cultural exchange.

The beating heart of any football club is its fans, which is exactly the energy reflected in this collaborative apparel collection, which includes clothing and a limited edition Nike Air Max Plus. Patta has worked with FC Barcelona to bring its bold graphic philosophy from the pitch to the streets as part of the 50-year coach and player exchange between FC Barcelona and the Netherlands.

Patta co-founder Guillaume Schmidt shared his thoughts on the collaboration: “Patta has a long-standing history with football and football jerseys, and if you know us, you know that we only do things that are true to who we are,” says Schmidt. “Amsterdam and Barcelona have been connected for generations, and modern football is still dominated by adaptations of the Dutch School. A long line of Dutch players transferred to FC Barcelona in their career, with many of these players sharing our Surinamese roots. All of this makes working with Nike on this collection a dream come true.”

Barcelona fans are fiercely loyal, with the passion for the club running through their veins. This is reflected across the collection, which includes jerseys (in both men’s and women’s fits), an anthem jacket, pants, hoodies, T-shirts, and a cap, all in Barcelona’s “Deep Royal Blue” and “Noble Red” colourways.

Patta was founded in 2004 by Edson Sabajo and Guillaume ‘Gee’ Schmidt, who met through a shared love of hip-hop in the early ‘90s. Both of Surinamese descent, Patta translates to the word “shoe” in the Surinamese language. In its 19-year history, Patta has established itself as a key player in the streetwear industry, blossoming from a sneaker store to a collaborator to its own brand, all while building a loyal community.

From FC Barcelona to lifers to new blood, there’s something in this collection for everyone. The collection is available to purchase on October 13 from the Patta online store, in-store, and on the Nike SNKRS app on October 16.
