Palace is opening the doors to a new London flagship, taking a space on Soho's Poland Street with a store that celebrates the skate brand's history, British architecture and its classic sense of humour.
Located at 8 Poland Street, the 250-square-metre space takes inspiration from some of London's most recognisable architectural landmarks, including the British Museum and traditional British churches. Stained-glass windows featuring bespoke Palace artwork are among the store's standout details, while archival photography and references to the brand's early years are displayed throughout the interior.
The store brings together concrete, galvanised steel, oak panelling and marble flooring, with several design elements paying tribute to Palace's previous retail spaces. A Rolls-Royce grille from its original store makes an appearance, alongside custom furniture inspired by the brand's Tri-Ferg logo and a large LED installation spanning two floors.
To celebrate the opening, Palace is dropping two exclusive collections, including a new collaboration with Burberry. The 10-piece capsule sees the British brands reconnect across a selection of apparel and accessories, led by a honey-beige Camden car coat featuring countryside-inspired graphics.
Elsewhere, Burberry's signature check appears across shirts, T-shirts, a hooded jacket, baseball cap and skateboard deck, while a cashmere scarf incorporates Palace branding. A polo shirt embroidered with the Poland Street graphic completes the exclusive offering.
Palace is also releasing a separate London-only collection featuring GORE-TEX outerwear, hoodies, T-shirts, caps and accessories. Each piece incorporates the number eight, referencing the store's address while subtly connecting to the infinity-inspired design of Palace's logo.
Palace's new flagship opens at 8 Poland Street, London, with nothing exclusive collections available in-store.
