Keep your heads up, festival season is right around the corner

The one reason we all make it through the cold and dreary winter, festival season, and it’s so close you could almost touch it. But don’t worry, it’s not too late to get yourself some last minute tickets for festivals all over the UK and Europe – and yes we’ve rounded them up so you’re welcome.

Primavera Sound Barcelona

A big boy of the Primavera global events, the Barcelona branch is looking like the place to be this summer. Whether you show up to cry your eyes out at the Lana Del Rey and Mitski sets, or you want to forget all notions of time, space, and existence at Disclosure, Primavera Barcelona has so much to offer you with over 150 performers. Plus, you’ll be in Barcelona so you’re basically guaranteed a rain-free weekend of top tier vibes. Grab your tickets while you still can here.

The Peckham Rye Park takeover is only two months away, as the untz untz music festival Gala is set to return on May 24 till May 26. The weekend-long festival is said to provide a “bass-heavy Friday, a high-energy Saturday, and a soul-nourishing Sunday.” Considering the lineup includes DJ EZ, Folamour, Job Jobse among many other artists, you’re in good hands with this one. Book it before it’s all gone, here.

This year is going to be a massive one for Dekmantel, which is celebrating its 10 year anniversary. The electro Amsterdam-native festival will be raving for 10 days straight, of course, to align with its 10 years of drink swinging, untz untz listening and under-the-influence partying. Naturally, the lineup is looking busy – that includes Avalon Emerson, DJ Python, Casper Tielrooij, and Shanti Celeste, just to name a few – to celebrate the past decade’s music pioneers, and the new generation of game changers. Book off July 26 till August 4 and head here to grab the remaining tickets for this year’s Dekmantel.

Lost Village

Lost Village is larging it this year with another lovely line-up, with Job Jobse, Floating Points, The Blessed Madonna, and Chaos in the CBD all footing the bill. Taking place on Thursday, August 22-Sunday August 25, Each year, the village merges escapism and unpredictability, as it brings the best in music and creativity. If you fancy navigating a forest filled with good tunes, overgrown houses, towering junkyards, and a seemingly abandoned airport, get yourself a ticket and get down to the village this year.

The Bristolian big boy of a festival, FORWARDS is returning to its usual Clifton Downs location to close off the summer on August 31 and September 1. The main headliners will be Loyle Carner and LCD Soundsystem, on Saturday and Sunday respectively. FORWARDS continues to carve its path as a cultural progressor, not only thanks to its genre-defying lineup, but also in part due to its social initiatives and sense of community. This one’s one you really don’t want to miss out on, so grab your tickets here before it’s too late.

From June 8 until June 9, Heaton Park will turn into a mega Manchester playground of all things music. With a varied list of headliners, including JHus, Kaytranada, Peggy Gou, and Nia Archives, with Strandz, and Jyoty also getting in on the action, you can be sure it’ll be a good one this year. Tickets to this one always sell out fast, so get yours now!

Croatia is the underrated summer spot, and Dimensions Festival is the perfect excuse to finally book your holiday. Taking place in Tisno between August 29 and September 2, Dimensions will welcome some 140 artists picked straight from the underground electro scene, including Shanti Celeste, Saoirse, DJ Stingray 313, Helena Hauff, Mala, and more. Head here to get yourself some final release tickets.

The Gunnersbury Park-native festival is returning to its home turf this September 14, with the 360 degree Water Tower taking the centrepiece position. Over 70 artists will rally themselves at Waterworks, including Kode9, Tim Reaper, Amaliah, KI/KI, Tash LC and more. All you London-based (or London-travelling) people, head here to grab some last minute tickets.
