South London-born photographer and filmmaker Gabriel Moses is releasing a hardback photobook, Regina, showcasing his captivating body of work in full-page reproductions, marked by deep colours and rich textures.

Regina is a tribute to the women in Moses’ life, reflecting the values and influences that have shaped his perspective as an artist. The exhibition was initially showcased in London’s 180 Studios, revealing images capturing protagonists in the world of sport, fashion, and music. Two short films were also premiered as part of the showcase, which showcased the breadth of Moses’ work.

Moses’ work has quickly caught on thanks to the Londoner’s sharp, narrative-driven style, which has led to his photography being used by a range of global brands, including Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Chanel. He has also shot stars such as Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, and Skepta

The Regina book features essays and a foreword by Moses, alongside full-page reproductions of his textured designs. It also features contributions and personal accounts by Matthew Williams Ciesay, Clint, Samuel Ross, and Slawn, amongst others.

Gabriel Moses: Regina touches on every aspect of Moses’ work to date, including a number of unpublished images, as well as spotlighting the creative’s connection to family, community, and the culture around it.

Prestel has published the debut monograph, which will be available to purchase from April 9 in the UK and a later US release on June 4.
