Okay, Seoul’s latest shopping destination has arrived, and I need to visit. HUMAN MADE has officially opened its third brick-and-mortar retail space in South Korea. It’s titled “HUMAN MADE JAMSIL” and is situated on the first floor of the Lotte World Mall.
For those not too familiar with the area, the store is located in the Songpa-gu district, with the Jamsil neighbourhood serving as a major commercial destination, thanks to the world-renowned Lotte World theme park just a stone’s throw away
The retail space blends HUMAN MADE’s global space design with distinct local character. What’s more is that when you step into the store, you see that the walls are adorned with custom pale jade-coloured tiles. These have been picked to replicate the appearance of traditional Koran Goryeo celadon ceramics.
To celebrate the grand opening, HUMAN MADE has introduced a series of exclusive products. There are nine pieces in the drop, spanning versatile apparel and lifestyle items. Each limited-edition item is embellished with the store’s signature purple heart logo alongside an exclusive racoon dog animal motif.
