This could be the cleanest World Cup collection we’ve seen so far.

As anticipation builds for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria are expanding their creative partnership with a collection that pays tribute to Mexico’s football culture and national identity.

Titled “Comienza Con El Sueño” (“It Begins With a Dream”), the capsule combines performance-inspired apparel, lifestyle pieces and footwear to celebrate the passion and ambition that fuel the next generation of players. The campaign spotlights emerging Mexican football talent while highlighting the communities that shape their journeys.

A standout element of the release is the footwear lineup. When you look closer, you see that Chavarria has introduced the new Willy Mega Low, a bold silhouette featuring sculptural detailing and an unconventional framework across the upper. Alongside this is the Megaride Copa, which merges elements of adidas’ legendary football boots with the brand’s futuristic Megaride cushioning system. Making the collection even more enticing, additional colourways of the the oversized Megaride AG XL round out the offering,

The apparel selection draws inspiration from football heritage. Mexico is one of the world’s most passionate football countries, of course. But what makes it work even more is Chavarria’s ability to balance his sharp eye for design with the classic Mexico football details that make the nation so iconic for the beautiful game. For example, the official Selección Nacional de México pieces sit alongside elevated sportswear styles that bridge the gap between the pitch and everyday wear.
