NYFW is more than the shows, the real flexing happens at the parties. So to kick off this season we teamed up with our friends at cult store CNCPTS to host a little thing in celebration of the ellesse LSR sneaker.
The night kicked off with DJ 9AM spinning as guests arrived, Boozee bar and Toppo Chico kept everyone hydrated including the likes of Griffin Maxwell Brooks, Lola Clark and Ginevra Mavilla.
We all know New York is the city that doesn’t sleep so as the sun went down, the music turned up and a queue snaked around the corner. Keyrah, KITTYSAYWORD and Zillion all jumped on the decks as more people rolled through, what started as an intimate event turned into a packed-out store party, passer-bys staring through the windows as drinks were free poured and our guests checked out the sneakers.
Kader Sylla rolled through, bringing some of NY’s best skaters with him, and Millyz dropped by with enough ice to keep the sweat-filled room cool.
As we approached midnight, Jesse from CNCPTS ushered everyone outside with the classic line “You aint gotta go home, but you gotta get the hell out of here”, and those words ring true as this was just our first fashion week party with ellesse. We are going to be pulling up in Milan with something just as big, bold and iconic, hopefully we will see you there.
