Founded in 2008, the socks brand has worked with the likes of A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams
In 2025, statement socks emerged as a hero accessory: bright pops of colour layered under loafers and unexpected patterns adding texture to otherwise minimalist outfits.

One of the standout names for socks? Happy Socks, a brand whose bag is deep.
Founded by a duo who had a love for bold socks in Sweden back in 2008, the brand was a response to the ubiquity of plain socks. Tired of seeing black socks everywhere and wanting to re-invent the sock game, the duo set out to reinstate socks as a means of creativity and expression with Happy Socks.

Since being founded, Happy Socks has opened stores all over the world, including in London, the US, and Sweden. It’s also collaborated with the likes of A$AP Rocky, Snoop Dog and Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club, and has been spotted on celebrities like Gigi Hadid.
Happy Socks have also collaborated with Awake NY, creating a limited collection of socks channeling the nostalgia of sports socks popular in the 1970s and 1980s.

The brand are often present at fashion week and even hit up five fashion shows in one year – worn by models at Rave Review Milan, Rolf Ekroth CPH, Torishéju in Paris, and Collina Strada in New York, as well as throwing their own show at Berlin Fashion Week.
Happy Socks’ formula worked, and now they’re one of the most recognisable socks brands in the world.
