These could be the cleanest frames I've seen in a very long time.
Oakley is bringing one of its most celebrated eyewear designs back into the spotlight with the return of the MUZM X-Metal Juliet Prototype. Chosen by the brand's Chief Visionary, Travis Scott, the reissued silhouette draws on Oakley's archive while incorporating updated manufacturing techniques. The release is scheduled to arrive exclusively at selected Oakley stores on July 24.
The launch forms part of Oakley's ongoing MUZM initiative, a programme dedicated to reviving some of the brand's most influential designs. Originally introduced at the turn of the millennium, the Juliet became synonymous with Oakley's futuristic approach to eyewear, earning a cult following across both fashion and film. Its latest revival sees Travis Scott play a key role in bringing the archival model back to a new generation of collectors and fans.
Engineered using a 25-component titanium alloy frame, the sunglasses retain the technical DNA that made the original so distinctive. The liquid-metal construction is forged at high temperatures to create a lightweight yet durable frame that can be adjusted for a personalised fit. Performance-focused details include Oakley's signature temple shock absorbers, interchangeable nosebombs and Prizm Ruby Polarized Plutonite lenses, which work alongside the brand's XYZ Optics technology to deliver enhanced clarity and precision.
Oakley has also given equal attention to the presentation. Every pair arrives inside a bespoke metal collector's case, with individually numbered packaging and an accompanying commemorative coin, reinforcing the Juliet Prototype's status as one of the brand's most coveted archival reissues.
