With FW25 fashion month on everyone’s radar, we’re trying to get ahead by predicting what might go down next season. And something that we would love to see at Prada’s FW25 show is Miuccia Prada reentering her mime era.
Yeah, you read that right. Real Prada fans will already know that back in the ‘60s, before Miuccia Prada met her calling as a fashion designer, she spent five years in Milan training at the Teatro Piccolo to become a mime.

Last season, Prada’s SS25 Menswear show dropped stiff collars frozen in animation, trompe l’oil striped shirts, and tees printed with abstract Bernard Buffet paintings that almost looked like mimes’ faces.
We’re halfway there. Just throw in a bit more tulle, a more monochromatic palette, and a smattering of harlequin patterns, and you’re done.
