Tokyo-born artist Mayumi Yamase is the latest female creative to join Nike’s growing collaborative roster, producing an Air force 1 and Blazer Low duo featuring playful detailing by way of multicoloured paint brush strokes printed and embroidered throughout, perfect for warm summer months ahead. The collaboration - which releases in North America tomorrow, May 19 through Nike and select retailers - also makes use of Nike’s Flyleather material, meaning that the upper is made up of at least 50% recycled leather fibres and is topped off with a custom decorative Nike x Mayumi Yamase shoebox.
