British concept label COTTWEILER has once again linked up with Reebok for another collaborative output with the “New Age Traveller” collection, which sets out to juxtapose traditional, natural and old-world material choice with Reebok’s cultivated futurist design philosophies. The collection’s highlight is undoubtedly the Zig 3D Storm Hydro, a silhouette combining inspiration from water shoes and soccer boots which was met with celebration upon its unveiling last month, arriving here in two wearable colorways.
Parallel to the footwear, Reebok is releasing a 9-piece apparel and accessories capsule collection employing linen and natural, pigment dyed cotton. Just like the footwear we see old-world materials in new forms, with many of the pieces being convertible as the wearer desires, while also paying homage to Reebok’s extensive history through intricate detailing borrowing from archival pieces.
Reebok as a brand has gone under the radar and unappreciated for far too long – with a killer design team constantly pushing out great products, it’s time that they get the recognition that they deserve.
The collaboration is available globally beginning May 14, 10am EST on Reebok.com and select local retailers, with the Zig 3D Storm Hydro priced at £150 and apparel ranging from £18 to £220.
