GUESS JEANS has joined forces with Japanese graphic artist VERDY and his streetwear label Wasted Youth for a new capsule collection, bringing together the American brand's denim heritage with the rebellious attitude of Japanese skate culture.
The collaboration marks the latest chapter in an ongoing relationship between VERDY and GUESS JEANS, led by Nicolai Marciano. Having worked together on several creative projects across Los Angeles and Japan, the pair formalised their partnership in 2025, with VERDY becoming a creative partner for the brand. Their shared interest in youth culture has since resulted in various activations, including events at Henry's PIZZA in Osaka and pop-ups at the GUESS JEANS flagship in Tokyo.
For their latest project, the two have put together a four-piece collection that reinterprets familiar GUESS designs through Wasted Youth's punk-inspired graphics. Highlights include a striped T-shirt referencing the American label's archival patterns, alongside a graphic tee featuring Wasted Youth's signature tulip can artwork. Washed black denim featuring an eagle patch and a two-pack of boxer briefs with fluorescent green waistband detailing complete the offering.
The release also continues GUESS JEANS' growing involvement in Japan's creative scene, with VERDY playing an important role in connecting the brand to a new generation of streetwear enthusiasts. Known for his work with Girls Don't Cry and Wasted Youth, the artist has developed a distinctive visual identity that extends across fashion, music and skateboarding.
The GUESS JEANS x Wasted Youth collection launches on October 24 at selected locations worldwide, including GUESS JEANS flagships in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Berlin and Amsterdam. Additional stockists include RAGGAWS and BLACKDOTS in Japan, alongside TUNE in South Korea.
To celebrate the release, GUESS JEANS Tokyo will also host a dedicated pop-up featuring the collection and a limited selection of denim tote bags that can be customised with laser-applied graphics.
