Cecilie Bahnsen is continuing her exploration of technical outerwear, joining forces with The North Face for a fourth collaborative collection. Arriving this November, the seven-piece capsule sees the Danish designer apply her signature feminine aesthetic to some of the outdoor brand’s most recognisable silhouettes.
Having made its runway debut during Bahnsen’s Fall/Winter 2026 ‘Practice’ presentation at Paris Fashion Week, the collection takes familiar performance pieces in a new direction. Floral detailing, intricate lacework and exaggerated proportions introduce a decorative element to garments traditionally designed with practicality in mind.
Leading the release is a reworked version of The North Face’s Nuptse Jacket. The cropped silhouette retains the original’s distinctive padded construction, while three-dimensional floral embellishments give the outerwear staple an entirely different character. Presented in a muted colour palette of ‘TNF Black’ and ‘Midnight Sky’, the collection brings together Bahnsen’s romantic design language and The North Face’s technical expertise.
Elsewhere, the collaboration introduces the Sofia Insulated Crew Neck Top and Symone Dotknit Top, alongside the Meghan Small Crevasse Cinch Bag and Amalia Waist Pack. The footwear offering includes the Martina Verto Alpine Mid boot and Angela ThermoBall Mule, extending the partnership’s approach to functional design across a wider wardrobe.
To accompany the launch, photographer Pia Riverola captured athletes Iris Pham and Molly Thompson-Smith in Copenhagen’s industrial Refshaleøen district. The campaign explores the relationship between movement, craftsmanship and female community, reflecting the wider creative direction of the partnership.
The fourth The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen collection is set to launch in November 2026, with the collaborative Nuptse Short Jacket following later in the month.
