When Lil Nas X teased his new project Dreamboy on IG a few days ago he shared a shot of him sitting on a retro computer setup, with a white-lit figure watching him – and Sega Bodega took to his socials to call him out.

Because in 2021, Sega Bodega released “Angel On My Shoulder”, a single from his album Romeo with album art featuring the artist sitting in front of a retro computer screen with a white-lit woman standing behind him. And ngl it looks very similar to Lil Nas X’s.
It’s not the first time Lil Nas X has been criticised for copying. In 2021, he was accused of copyright infringement over his “Rodeo” single, and the visuals in “Montero” had a resemblance to FKA Twigs’ work.
Lil Nas X has since deleted all his posts that included the supposedly copied visuals.
