Here’s why Travis Scott at Coachella 2025 was generational

Travis Scott has been on the world's biggest stages but this one might be his biggest yet because, this year, he headlined Coachella 2025 and it was pretty insane. Here's our breakdown of the standout moments at Travchella this year:

He wore head-to-toe custom Chrome Hearts

If you’re going to headline Coachella, you’ve got to pop out with a bang and Travis Scott did exactly that with his custom Chrome Hearts fit. The details went crazy, too, with crosses all over his body from his shoulder pad to his belt to even his studded leather gloves.

People were floating onstage

If you listen to Travis’ music, you might feel like that one SpongeBob meme of him floating and he took that literally, getting performers to hang off the top to look like they were levitating.

He previewed 2 unreleased tracks

He did promise us a new chapter with his performance and, well, he gave us a little teaser. The two tracks were “On Jacques” and “Goin’ Dumb” and they sounded pretty fire - whatever he’s cooking, we’re here for it.

There was a live orchestra

When someone at the rehearsals leaked that Travis would do something no one’s ever done at Coachella before, we did not expect him to pull up with a whole orchestra. Hearing “FE!N” and “Sicko Mode” by a brass band definitely wasn’t on our bingo card for the festival this year.

This Modern Jam x Nokia mash-up

One thing we all know Travis is good at is getting our attention and hopping on what’s been trending recently so he decided to surprise us all with a mash-up of everyone’s favourite song of 2025: Nokia by Drake. He remixed it with his very own track “Modern Jam” off of Utopia and, icl, we wish it had an official release.
