Doechii was the queen of this year’s Grammys

Last night, Doechii made history at the Grammys by being only the third woman ever to win Best Rap Album, following in the footsteps of Lauryn Hill and Cardi B. And, I mean, no one can complain - Alligator Bites Never Heal was deservedly one of the best albums of 2024, let alone the best in the Rap genre.

Being such a monumental moment, the Swamp Princess was overwhelmed with emotion as she thanked her mum in her speech and inspired black women to really chase their dreams. Shedding tears in her second Thom Browne look is also such a flex.

The Florida rapper also rounded the night off with a performance of "Denial Is A River" and "Catfish" that left Jay-Z, Billie Eilish and SZA in awe.

Just remember that Doechii called it in her interview with us back in October.
