The verdict is out people, A$AP Rocky’s been found not guilty. Rocky stays a free man.
The rapper was found not guilty of shooting former mob member A$AP Relli at a square-up incident in Hollywood in 2021, swerving a 24-year imprisonment for two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Lol, thank f*ck, what would we have done if Rocky was behind bars for two decades?
As soon as the verdict was read, Rocky dove into the gallery crowd to hug Rihanna, and told the jurors “Thank y’all for saving my life”.

Outside the courtroom he told reporters: “You gotta thank god first [...] I really wanna thank the jury for making the right decision. I’m so thankful. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years, but I’m thankful. We blessed to be here right now.”
Rihanna also posted on her IG stories: “The glory belongs to god and god alone! Thankful, humbled by his mercy!”
The verdict follows a drama-filled, over-two-weeks trial, that we’re so glad is finally over.
