The trial for A$AP Rocky has started. The rapper is accused of firing a gun at former A$AP mob member, A$AP Relli, in a November 2021 incident. CCTV footage shows the men squaring up on a Hollywood street corner, where Rocky pulled a gun and fired two “warning shots”.
The proceedings follow Rocky pleading not guilty to two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Last week, Rocky declined a plea offer from prosecutors who gave him a seven-year suspended sentence, three years probation and 180 days in jail.
His defence attorney said that Rocky was only carrying a “prop gun” on the day of the incident.
