Dr. Martens’ Genix Nappa drop is reclaimed leather, remade to last

This week Dr. Martens is taking yet another step towards its goal of becoming net zero by 2040, by releasing its new, circular Genix Nappa collection. The collection is the latest step in Dr. Martens’ waste-free agenda, and utilises an innovative new material created using reclaimed leather offcuts originally destined for landfill. The Genix Nappa drop features three new iterations of the brand’s best-selling footwear styles, from the classic lace-up Dr. Martens 1460 boot to a 1461 3-Eye shoe and 2976 Chelsea boot silhouette. Each is crafted from the innovative, comfortable, and durable Gennix Nappa material, which has less impact on the environment compared to conventional leather.

All three items within the Genix Nappa collection dropped on the 26th March, available to shop now on Dr. Martens’ website.
