OG shoe brand Scholl owns the summer season with their iconic Pescura Heel sandal, which has been around since 1956. The style is part of the brand’s SS25 collection, which was inspired by the idyllic Italian summer- when the beach, sun, and culture come together.
The Pescura Heel is the brand’s most popular style and was the basis of the “Frankenshoe,” one of the key shoes in Scholl’s GOATED limited edition collaboration with Balenciaga- released back in April. The brand’s most popular style for this summer, a new interpretation of the Pescura is the new Pescura Cameron, which comes in flat, mid, and high heels to meet every preference, and is available in petrol and lobster patent leather: it’s giving ‘70s fr.
To give us a look behind the scenes at the shoe’s Italian craftsmanship, the brand released a video of its creation, from the carving and shaping of the wood, to the intricate placement of the buckle.
The SS25 collection is constructed out of breathable materials, features ergonomic designs, and has a color palette that was inspired by the Mediterranean. Elsewhere in the collection, bolder leopard and python prints can be found, alongside a new ballet-style flat called Janine.
As far as comfy shoes are concerned, Scholl is the GOAT: the brand was founded way back in 1899 and was a pioneer of orthopaedic shoes: fast forward to today, and that craftsmanship and innovative patented technology has been merged with eco-conscious design to offer high-fashion comfort.
The collection is available at select retailers and scholl-shoes.com now.
