It’s the first day of July and we’re already raring to get into what’s happening this week, because there’s been some pretty big news you need to get on your radar. Diesel and Bang & Olufsen have both appointed new brand ambassadors, David Koma’s dropped a campaign with a pop culture icon, and Levi’s and Timberland have drops you won’t wanna miss. Last week, Diesel named its first global male ambassador as Måneskin frontman, Damiano David. The Glenn Martens-led high fashion brand has always had a close connection to groundbreaking music, so its alignment with David is pretty natural. The news of his appointment comes ahead of a genderless collection designed by Glenn Martens and Damiano David, which will drop later this year.

Bang & Olufsen is speeding into the fast lane with its new Global Brand Ambassador: F1 Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Announced last week, the news that Leclerc is now working with Bang & Olufsen shouldn’t come as a surprise to his true fans, who know that outside of racing Leclerc’s got a music streak. 

Sam Nowell is teasing a new Wimbledon collab

Designer Sam Nowell has just teased his collaboration with the official brand behind Wimbledon tennis’ towels. Back in 2019, Sam Nowell released a selection of apparel around the sporting event, and now it looks like he’s back for more, posting about the “Mixed Doubles” collection on IG ahead of the drop. Levi’s x McLaren rev up for their pending drop

Levi’s is teaming up with Formula 1 team McLaren for a new vintage-inspired apparel collection celebrating the team’s history. A range of limited-edition Levi’s pieces featuring McLaren cars from the 1980s and its original red and white colourway will be dropping on July 3rd, ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone which kicks off on the 7th. Lourdes Leon (Madonna’s daughter, for those who don’t know) has just become the face of David Koma’s RE25 campaign. Burberry hits up Hong Kong to open the Knight Bar

Burberry just opened the Knight Bar at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s MO Bar in Hong Kong, hosting an event which invited the likes of Bright Vachirawit, Amy Lo, Baekhyun, Cecilia Choi, Fiona McLeish, Hanna Chan, and more. The takeover will run until July 14th, and features a Burberry blue makeover of the bar’s interior featuring the brand’s Equestrian Knight Design, and offers a  traditional British dining experience.
