Your house can now smell like Drake’s cologne

Better World Fragrance House has expanded one of its signature fragrances into a new scented candle.

Drake wants your house to smell like Summer Mink.

Better World Fragrance House has expanded one of its signature fragrances into a new scented candle, translating the amber-woody Summer Mink Eau de Parfum into a 10.5 oz home fragrance.

Summer Mink imagines the slightly ridiculous idea of wearing a heavy fur during the hottest part of the year, using that clash between warmth and freshness as the foundation for the fragrance itself.

It opens on the brighter side, bringing together Italian citrus with clary sage and petitgrain before moving into a warmer floral centre of jasmine sambac, rose oil and spices. Vetiver and musk then sit alongside Ambrofix in the base, giving the fragrance its deeper amber character as the candle burns.

Better World Fragrance House includes a gold marker with each candle, allowing owners to write directly onto it. Names, messages or whatever else you fancy can effectively turn each one into a personalised object or gift.

Summer Mink joins an expanding home fragrance offering from Drake’s Better World Fragrance House, which has increasingly taken scents beyond traditional perfume. Candles have long been part of the brand’s world, including Carby Musk, a fragrance famously connected to the idea of recreating Drake’s own personal scent.

The latest arrival continues that crossover between personal and interior fragrance, taking something originally designed to sit on the body and allowing it to fill an entire room instead.

The candle is also formulated without parabens or phthalates. Better World Fragrance House recommends letting the wax melt across the entire surface during its first burn, which should take around three to four hours, and trimming the wick to a quarter-inch before lighting it again.

The Better World Fragrance House Summer Mink Scented Candle is available now exclusively online through Ulta Beauty.
