Daily Paper is set to release their mid-season holiday collection this weekend. The Amsterdam-based company has been well known for opting to drop collections on fans’ heads as opposed to running with seasonal collections. This drop sees influence from colourful art features which embody heritage, artistry, language and community.
Daily Paper originally started as a personal blog in 2008, run by best friends Abderrahmane Trabsini, Jefferson Osei and Hussein Suleiman. After gaining some much-deserved traction, the blog released a set of five T-shirts with their now-infamous monogram logo. The brand has since grown due to its capability to tell stories through strong visuals and storytelling.

This drop sees an emphasis on key cotton garms, knits and puffers. In true Daily Paper fashion, the brand has included an assortment of graphic T’s, hoodies and monogram embroideries everywhere. Topics of inspiration, creativity and education are deeply rooted in this drop.
Hoodies, tees, a crisp white shirt and a matching chequered two-piece are decorated with a custom family portrait artwork, “illustrating the importance of family and collectivity”, while homegrown veggies are seen elsewhere in the collection, adorned with the slogan “Stay Grounded in your Roots” which accompanies these graphics throughout.
Winter lovers are also treated to an assortment of knits and jackets to help them get through colder months. Knits are designed to hug the body’s natural curves, and puffers are mocked up to co-exist with your underlayers. The chocolate brown puffer takes precedence in this collection, painted in a matte finish and adorned with the Daily Paper logo.
