Burberry Beauty is back, and the leading luxury brands in the beauty industry should be quaking in their boots. The British fashion House just revealed it will be relaunching Burberry Beauty next month, with its first boutique inside the recently renovated beauty hall of Selfridges, London.

Burberry’s beauty range hasn’t actually gone anywhere, having released a variety of products from fragrances to foundation in the past few years. In all honesty, the brand experienced some complications with licensing agreements, resulting in an ongoing change-of-hands, which is why it kind of feels like it fell off the grid. However, it would appear that after a few years of putting cosmetics in the back-seat, Burberry’s ready to regain its reputation.

Burberry first launched its cosmetics line in-house back in 2013, with celebrity MUA Wendy Rowe at the helm. However, in 2017 Burberry Beauty’s licence changed hands and Coty acquired the long-term global licence rights for Burberry Beauty including its fragrances, cosmetics and skincare ranges.

Since 2017, Coty has chosen to focus mainly on fragrances, giving a platform to Burberry’s fan favourite scent, “Her,” among others. But whilst Burberry’s fragrance collection has been undeniably booming, the brand’s once popular range of makeup and skincare have been left behind… Until now.

Thirty-five weeks ago the brand started posting on its @burberrybeauty official Instagram account, the first hint of its cosmetics’ resurrection, and now it has announced the Selfridges pop-up boutique which will showcase all of its beloved beauty products, and teasers of more to come.

Back in March of this year, Burberry debuted a new foundation range which will of course be available at its Selfridges pop-up, but we’re also expecting a selection of new Burberry Beauty cosmetics to drop in the coming weeks. Apparently inspired by the brand’s iconic trench coat, it’s already teased the Beyond Wear Perfecting Matte Foundation with Trench Protect Technology, as well as a new lip product called Burberry Kisses.

Keep an eye on the @burberrybeauty Instagram account for more on the brand’s cosmetics drops, and make sure you hit up Selfridges next month to view the full beauty range.
