Perfumer H is opening a flagship store, it’s your last chance to view a Yves Saint Laurent exhibition in Japan, and Berghain has announced its 19th birthday line-up. CELINE announces new art project by Banks Violette

CELINE has presented a new body of work from artist Banks Violette, which will be shown worldwide over the holiday season. The works are built in a stop-motion fashion, from the stable to the broken, the glamorous to the dissolute. CELINE’s creative director, Hedi Slimane, chose to work with the artist following his role as both a documentarian and participant in Violette’s work. The CELINE Art Project will be available to view in the following spaces:

Aro Archive opens a new Shoreditch Store

Last week, archive fashion emporium Aro Archive threw open its doors to London’s fashion crowd at its new French Place location in Shoreditch. The new space replaces its much-loved Broadway Market store, allowing the brand to expand its operations. The Victorian Warehouse means five stories of fashion-y goodness, including collections of directional Japanese, Belgian, French and British pre-owned designer clothing. Now, with more space for its stylish wares, Aro has expanded its offering to include pre-owned furniture, objects, artworks, books and more. If this has piqued your interest, you know what to do. 

Champion steps into the archives with Dukes Cupboard

Sportswear brand Champion has tapped vintage streetwear experts Dukes Cupboard for their expert curation of a selection of vintage Champion pieces, which will be available in Champion’s Brewer Street store. Embracing the Circular fashion, Milo and Ned, founders of Dukes Cupboard, have channelled their own design expertise into the collaboration. A limited-edition range of reverse weave sweatshirts and T-shirts, with designs by Graffiti legend Panik, who will also be contributing his artistic skills to the Champion window on Berwick Street. The partnership will kick off with an opening event on Thursday, December 7 at the Champion Brewer Street store. 

Boiler Room is heading to Goa

Everyone’s favourite party-thrower, Boiler Room, is heading back to the Indian city of Goa for a 3-day takeover following the success of last year’s series. Expect solid line-ups, banging locations and unmatched vibes. You can pre-register for tickets on Dice, ahead of the event, which will take place on December 28, 29, 30. Berghain announces its 19th birthday line-up

Every man and his dog know about Berghain, neither every man nor his dog has got in. With a door policy as storied as its sound system, Berghain’s reputation precedes itself in the club community and beyond. Now it is celebrating its 19th Birthday with a 36-hour extravaganza starting at midnight on Saturday, December 9, across Berghain, Panorama Bar, Halle and Saüle. Line-up highlights include Marcel Dettmann and abs8lute, Stacy Hotwaxx and Marcellus Pittman. Head over to Resident Advisor to get clued up on the action. Good luck getting past Sven, though. 

Perfumer H is opening a new store in Mayfair

Perfumer H knows a thing or two about luxury fragrances, with British perfume maker Lyn Harris at the helm. Now, it is opening a new store on Mayfair’s Clifford Street, decked out with a selection of smelly bits from candles to fragrances. Making use of an on-brand dark, muted colour scheme, the brand’s newest retail location serves as the perfect scented escape from the London streets outside. If you’re in need of a scented re-up, head to 15a Clifford Street now. The store is open from 10:30 to 18:30 Monday-Saturday and 12:00 to 17:00 on Sunday.

THE BOX is hosting a sample sale with a load of Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM pieces, giving fans that chance to get their hands on some of the cult-loved streetwear pieces crates by Pharrell and Japanese designer Nigo. Following the news of Rihanna and Puma’s Creeper Phatty, the shoe is getting an XL launch in the UK capital. Rihanna shared her thoughts on the collaboration: “We took our OG Creeper and made it bigger and badder, ” said Rihanna. “When designing the Creeper Phatty we wanted to reinvent the OG Creeper that was loved by so many. It’s a classic silhouette that has been missed, so its return had to be bigger.”
