Très Bien and Diemme are back with a sexy suede hiking shoe

Très Bien has tapped Diemme for a colourful take on the Movida – a ‘90s-inspired hiking-style silhouette.

The sneaker is low cut and designed for everyday use, crafting the upper from premium Italian suede, accented with a hand-moulded rubber toe and finished with a Vibram Rolling Gate System hiker sole. The inner is lined with leather, working with a vegetable latex and footbed for all-round comfort and support.

The sneaker’s name, Movida, means “nightlife” in Italian, and the shoes nod to the Italo Disco Club life. A muted brown colourway is accented with a pink toe box, and a more energising green model is completed with a lime green hue, with both styles featuring silver mesh on the tongue, referencing the shimmer of the disco ball.

This isn’t the first time the two brands have worked together, having released a more muted Modiva style in “Olive” and “Bordeaux” colourways. Earlier this year, London-based stylist Jack West and photographer Rory Griffin were enlisted for a photoshoot using pieces from a previously-released Très Bien x Diemme collaboration.

Très Bien and Diemme is a collaboration that works well together, fitting perfectly alongside Très Bien’s elevated offering, which fuses sportswear with streetwear and high-fashion, covering all bases of contemporary menswear. Diemme’s roots in the Dolomite mountains inform the brand’s emphasis on premium materials, working just as well in rugged rural settings as the streets of Soho – where the brand has garnered a cult following, thanks to its vintage hiking aesthetic.

The Très Bien for Diemme Movida Hiker releases exclusively on on November 23 in limited numbers.
