It’s not many shows that you have to trek to the Alps for, but when Moncler sends an invite, you go. That’s why we found ourselves at Courchevel Altiport’s runway yesterday - on a mountain 2,008 meters above sea level - to see Moncler Grenoble’s latest collection, shown on a blanket of thick white snow. Here’s what went down.

Hitting up Courchevel Altiport with A-list guests including Anne Hathaway, Penn Badgley, Adrien Brody, Michael Ward, and more, we found a runway usually used for landing planes on the snow topped mountain, but transformed into different kind of runway for Moncler Grenoble’s FW25 show.
The show itself started with a projection of electric blue lights on the snowy scape, as an orchestra decked out in puffer jackets began playing. Then four-by-four snow buggies made their way down the runway towards us, carrying models dripping in ski gear, who eventually stepped off and began walking through the snow.

Faux fur skirts and thick cream knitted jackets nodded to Moncler Grenoble’s luxe, while padded waterproofs and helmets were a reminder that these fits are made to be skied in. And nodding to that, plenty of models carried skis, poles, snowboards, and more snow sports equipment.
One thing we appreciated was that, despite the below freezing temperatures and heavy snow falling on the runway, none of the looks sacrificed warmth for drip. Every model was decked in hats, scarves, gloves, and thick outerwear that both looked clean af and like they could withstand a blizzard.

As much as these fits serve a purpose - warmth against the elements being the priority - fashion was still at the forefront. Full body puffers were cinched with belts at the waist, faux fur trimmed jackets were accessorised with matching bags, and full knit jackets and skirt sets were paired with cable knit caps.
Moncler Grenoble’s FW25 show was a reminder that drip doesn’t stop when you step on the slope. Whether you’re a thrill seeker looking to launch yourself off a black run or are literally just there for the après-ski, Moncler’s got you.
