Abra - headed up Abraham Ortuño Perez, who we linked up with following his SS25 season - has just dropped another hyper-femme, hyper-fun collection to kick off Paris FW25 Fashion Week. This time, his FW25 show, titled “Fashion Boutique” is an ode to the small local boutiques of the ‘80s where you’d source all your going out fits.
Abra’s muse at SS25 was his sister, reminiscing the summer days they would spend together as kids, and at FW25 his muse stayed in the family, referencing his mum as his inspiration. Abra’s show notes describes memories of his “Mom’s beauty routine and growing up in a small village in Spain,” which both played a part in the nostalgia-driven collection.
The collection itself is rooted in unique, boutique-style pieces that feel personal and one-of-a-kind. The show opened with two stand-out pieces, giant plush roses in pink and black, before transforming into a more wearable selection of skirts, shirts, pants, and matching sets.
Something you might have already noticed about the collection were the goth style makeup and hair some of the models wore. Wearing big, bouffant dresses with puff sleeves and skirts, these looks contrasted with the grunge of the makeup looks perfectly, creating a sense of individuality and personality throughout the collection.
