Rihanna loves a pregnancy announcement on the big stage like her Super Bowl half-time show back in 2023 or her surprise photoshoot at the Brooklyn Bridge. This time, she decided to commemorate her third pregnancy at Fashion’s biggest night: the Met Gala.
It was all but confirmed earlier on in the day, with photos showing off her prominent bump on her way to the event when she was decked out in a grey Miu Miu look. Then, she stepped onto the carpet and validated all of our suspicions.
She donned a full Marc Jacobs look, sticking with the Black Dandyism theme with a black tuxedo jacket and a fitted corseted bodice in striped grey that hugged her growing baby bump. She paired the top with what looked like a black pinstripe coat that was buttoned and tied in the back to act like a skirt, further accentuating her glow. She finished the look off with a heeled stiletto/derby hybrid in black and white, along with jewellery from Belperron and Vendura, an oversized top hat and clashing hints of polka dot on her necktie and pocket square to offset the stripes.
Rihanna defo came correct with the theme, might be her best Met Gala look fr. Props to baby number 3!
