For its second Global Design Competition, Prospect100 has partnered with ViacomCBS Consumer Products and Nickelodeon, for which young designers are invited to re-imagine the iconic franchise Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
The competition aims to provide a platform for young up-and-coming artists and TMNT fans, aged between 16-25. The winner of the competition will win a US$7,000 / £5,000 cash prize as well having their design turned into official TMNT merch for Amazon, set to launch in August 2021.
Veronica Hart, Executive Vice President of ViacomCBS, said “We are thrilled to see how these young creators will bring their vision of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael to life. Our goal for the TMNT x P100 Winner Collection is to create a fan-first product offering that presents the winning design to millions of TMNT fans!”
Founded by Adam Flanagan, Alexandre Daillance, Harry Beard, Prospect100 has always gathered an impressive roster of judges. This time around, the judges include TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, KidSuper’s LVMH Prize finalist Colm Dillane, MoMA exhibited artist Andre Saraiva, artistic curator LilJupiter, and more. Each submission will be judged based on its authenticity, originality and creativity.
