notwoways has rocked the boat since emerging onto the scene last year, being a product of YouTube star and creative Callux and designer Rockwell Princely Daroen’s partnership. The brand is dropping its second silhouette, the ARW in “afterdark”, following the same design principles as their previous releases while dressing up the sneaker in a moody color palette. We previously interviewed the duo on their brand’s progression, and this is another chapter in the book of what will no doubt become a powerhouse, household name.
The afterdark comes as the brand’s most advanced sneaker to date, arriving with an all new knitted upper – a first for the fledgling label – combined with intricate 3M detailing throughout. The midsole for the ARW is similar to that of the previous releases also, albeit making some minor modifications to beef up the look, while the laces are optional and removable for a sleeker look. The pair is tied together by discreet “ntw” branding on the medial heel, as well as “notwoways” printed on the tongue tab.
The notwoways ARW “afterdark” is available exclusively through the notwoways website, on July 1 at 6pm BST, at £120 GBP a pair.
