Over the past few years, Corteiz’s Clint has established himself as the king of fashion marketing, having a keen eye for viral moments that speak beyond his cult audience.
This time around, for Nike and Corteiz’s reunion, they released a new trailer for their upcoming Air Trainer Huarache collaboration directed by none other than Gabriel Moses. Taking heavy inspiration from Nike’s Freestyle Basketball commercial from 2001, they even got the legendary Andy Ansah to work on this project - a legendary football choreographer that’s had a hand in almost every iconic football advert.
The cast is star-studded too, from current players and football legends such as Edgar Davids, Phil Foden, Kobbie Mainoo and the returning Eduardo Camavinga to UK creatives like Slawn and Chy Cartier. The UK roots don’t stop there, with Treble Chef’s “Ghetto Kyote” blasting the background.
The hype doesn’t stop there as everyone involved was seen in Nike and Corteiz’s upcoming apparel and, although we haven’t got any detailed shots just yet, the silhouettes and designs look promising. Old-school references like the mini swoosh and piping details on the windbreakers just add to the nostalgic feel that Corteiz and Clint capture best.
Expected to release in the next coming weeks, stay tuned for more info on the drop.
