Returning as the face of Miu Miu’s 2024 Holiday Campaign, Emma Corrin is framed in a moment of optimism.
Shot by Lengua - a Canary Island-born, Germany-based photographer - the campaign titled “Irreverent Wonder” captures the actor in a minimalist, silk-wrapped set that’s juxtaposed with a brocade sofa, dramatically draped curtains and an elegant grand piano. Resembling antique festive portrait cards, Corrin is surrounded by a veil of the Italian luxury house’s signature Sapphire Blue, providing a cool contrast with the warmer backdrop. Followed by a play on lights and shadows, the imagery exudes a surreal, almost dreamlike quality.
There’s an eclectic offering for any festive occasion that ranges from casual, daytime looks featuring the Plume sneakers and Plaid sets to dressier, nighttime looks with knee-high leather boots and Nappa Leather jackets. Trademark bags such as Arcadie, Aventura and the Penny can also be given a holiday touch with seasonal tricks.
This campaign debuts alongside the new 2024 Upcycled collection that sees the repurposing of deadstock yarns, kilts and leathers to create unique, one-of-one pieces that celebrate sustainability and Miu Miu’s love for vintage. Currently on the site is a plethora of denim pieces with suede trimmings and black embellishments.
