Sometimes, the best art comes from art itself. That’s why Louis Vuitton and Steven Meisel referenced the atmospheric paintings of French artist Laurent Grasso in the new SS25 campaign.

Featuring Lisa and Saoirse Ronan, the portraits that incorporate Renaissance-esque composition see the house ambassadors rocking Nicolas Ghesquiere’s latest offering. With there being some slight movement in the images, it provides a dynamic take on a classic backdrop, juxtaposing the contemporary with the traditional.

Enlisting Lisa and Ronan wasn’t just a coincidence either, with the two being faux muses for Ghesquiere’s Louis Vuitton SS25 collection due to their notions of “soft power.” It’s about two powerhouses in their respective fields - part of one of the most successful K-Pop groups of all time and a four-time Oscar nominee respectively.
