Football legend Zinedine Zidane has linked up with adidas to revive one of its most cult football boots with the new Predator Precision Elite x Zidane.

The collab, which was first teased back in January, is a rerelease of Zizou’s Predator Precision from 2000 – originally launching as an exclusive pair for Zidane to celebrate his FIFA World Player of the Year award (the current FIFA Best). The footballer wore it in a friendly match against Germany in 2001.
The limited-edition rerelease is an homage to Zidane and his legacy, as well as the legendary boot itself that defined that era.
The shoe sticks to the OG silhouette and aesthetics of the millennium, featuring its original Gold Met/Black/Collegiate Red colourway – with its gold upper and the three stripes flowing diagonally across the shoe, and the bold red foldover tongue. But, there are some updates: the rerelease includes the brand’s “Made in Germany” (adidas’ ongoing series of shoes made in its home country), and the original “World Player 2000” writing on the heel has been moved to the insole.
The limited edition boot drops on June 10th. You can cop on adidas.com.
