One of the biggest Air Jordan collaborations is making a comeback. The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High Alaska has been reportedly confirmed for a spring 2026 release. Previously called “Euro” or “White”, the colourway is one of three to drop from Abloh’s Air Jordan 1 designs.
Japanese designer and musician Hiroshi Fujiwara confirmed the return of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 yesterday on his IG, wearing a new version of the silhouette. The updated design features “V.A.A. for Nike” stamped on the side, replacing the OG “Off-White for Nike” text. And with the return of the Maison Margiela Future, we are seeing a full-blown high-top renaissance.
The sneaker was first introduced in the cult “Chicago” colourway as part of the original 2017 collection “The Ten”. The OG collab deconstructed the silhouette, exposing the foam on the collar, removing stitching on the upper and the Swoosh, and Off-White’s signature zip tie. The “Euro” was originally a regional-exclusive the following year, and it later became more broadly available.
A drop that’s coming sooner from the Abloh archives is the Nike Air Force 1 Low Sesame, expected to launch in October. Instead of the signature Off-White branding of previous versions, the new AF1 will also feature the Virgil Abloh Archives for Nike stamp.
The sneaker drop announcement coincides with Grand Palais exhibition “Virgil Abloh: The Codes”, the first major European exhibition exclusively dedicated to Virgil’s multidisciplinary work, which made him one of the most influential creative figures of the 21st century. The exhibition features his personal collection, unfinished works and his best designs.
