Yep, we’ve been here before. After delaying the album way too many times to even count, we might finally be at the finish line for A$AP Rocky’s long-awaited album “Don’t Be Dumb.”
Last week, A$AP gave us another teaser to the album with an old school-themed CashApp ad where he dodged the interviewer’s questions on anything to do with the upcoming album by promoting CashApp. Eventually, at the end of the ad, he gave us a number (1-555-GET-ASAP) and said, “It might not be money but it might be something you want to hear.” Calling the number got you a snippet of an unreleased track that’s probably going to be on the album and, icl, it got us pretty excited.
A$AP’s delayed the album so many times, surely we’re finally going to get the album we’ve desperately been waiting for. I mean, he cleared his Instagram - that can only mean one thing, right? From sample clearances to changing up the sound, it’s been 7 years now A$AP, we need “Don’t Be Dumb!”
