Is it not clocking to you that Justin Bieber’s standing on business? The artist just surprised dropped his new album Swag. And it’s a 10/10.
Yesterday, Justin posted a series of billboards with what seemed to be the album cover for his seventh studio album, alongside a wholesome photoshoot with his family on his IG stories. He dropped the album today.
Bieber hasn’t released any music for a minute, so this is an exciting surprise to Beliebers around the world. The new record is more introspective, more personal – featuring songs dedicated to Hailey and their son Jack. Like track “GO BABY”, where he says: “That’s my baby, she’s iconic / iPhone case, lip gloss on it,” referencing Hailey’s cult Rhode cases.
But, it’s also not that deep. Track “STANDING ON BUSINESS” incorporates ad libs from his now-viral “It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business, is it?” speech at the beach.
The album includes features with Dijon, Lil B, Sexxy Red, Gunna, Cash Cobain, and 2 Chainz, while Dijon, Mk.gee, Knox Fortune and Daniel Caesar were behind the production.
We were expecting a drop from Bieber, but we thought it’d be about his new brand SKYLRK (which finally dropped yesterday) of sweats, slides, beanies, sunglasses, and that joint phone case.
But, turns out, we also got an album. It’s going to be a Swag summer.
