Recently, it’s been pretty hard to ignore the 3-eye Boat shoe by Timberland and, well, for good reason. From collabs with Supreme, Aime Leon Doré and Hender Scheme to being plastered over every moodboard page, it’s quickly become a cult favourite for its preppy aesthetics mixed with that rugged lug sole. They’re upcoming collab with Jacquemus might have just solidified its status as the shoe of the summer tho.
Dubbed “La Bateau” (meaning ‘the boat’ in French), the iconic model features a “Banana Yellow” leather upper with all the signature details we know and love like the distinct toe box, leather-laced sides and that emblematic lug sole. What Jacquemus’ Simon Porte has added are his mismatched golden aglets on the laces for a premium touch, some branded lace stays on the lateral heel and, of course, this beautiful yellow upper.
The shoes are dropping tomorrow (23rd April) on Timberland and Jacquemus’s website as well as Jacquemus stores, being priced at £225 GBP, don’t miss out on this one.
