It’s a ‘motorcore’ summer and, being the official lifestyle sponsor of the upcoming F1® The Movie, Tommy Hilfiger have taken full advantage, unveiling their new APXGP collection ahead of the movie’s premiere with the campaign fronted by none other than Damson Idris. I mean, after their Met Gala moment, who else would it have been?
Idris is looking fresh on the tracks donning the collection which includes motorsport-influenced design elements. It’s a pretty vast collection that’s got everything from a vegan leather varsity jacket that features moto-inspired patches and embroidery to a red quilted jacket that’s actually modelled after the one Idris’ character wears in the movie to even a mechanic shirt with those same motifs and graphics.
It makes too much sense that Tommy Hilfiger would be the brand to collaborate with F1® The Movie, considering Hilfiger himself was a massive fan of the sport growing up and partnered with so many teams in the ‘90s, shaping the brand’s DNA and becoming somewhat of an icon at the tracks.
Make sure you check out the collection, available now online and in stores. F1® The Movie also coming to theatres, look out for it on 25th June.
