Fans were disappointed - but not surprised - when Kanye’s latest album DONDA did not drop as scheduled. But the rapper recently took to Instagram to share a new release date, August 5.
Recently hosting a listening party of DONDA at the Mercedes-Benz Atlanta stadium - which sold out in the blink of an eye, of course - Ye has organized a second listening party, which will take place August 2 at 10 AM EST. Fans expect to hear features from Jay Z, Travis Scott, Tyler, The Creator and many more.
In addition, rumours have been flying around about Kanye’s behind the scenes work with Demna Gvasalia since he was spotted at Balenciaga’s Haute Couture show. The album is said to be creatively directed by the designer, with no further details on what that could look like.
Stay tuned for upcoming details, as we impatiently await August 5 in hopes that it is in fact a release date.
