
American artist Jeff Koons has revisited his “Balloon Dogs” in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art, releasing three colorways of porcelain artworks through livestream shopping platform NTWRK. Koons’ inflatable animals date back to the 90’s, with one example, “Balloon Dog Orange”, trading in 2013 for US$58.4 million – at the time being the most expensive artwork by a living artist.
The Balloon Dogs are available in Magenta, Orange and Yellow, and only 30 units of each colorway were created. The art is dropping exclusively on NTWRK’s mobile app today, with a price tag of US$9000/$11000 per piece, depending on your colour choice. If we had the cash, we’d cop…
