Are you a fan of Loewe and Jonathan Anderson but can’t afford the items? Then you might be in luck. As the summer season gets underway, Loewe is rolling out its fourth annual collaboration with Paula’s Ibiza, with more accessible prices.
When questioned about whether the collab appears as a second-rate version of Loewe, creative director Jonathan Anderson told the BOF:
“I don’t see Paula’s Ibiza as being a secondary product to Loewe at all. I think it complements the brand, it’s about addressing an aesthetic niche that was missing, dressing for that summer vibe.”
And the acquisition of the brand seems to be a success for Loewe, broadening the luxury brand’s more exclusive appeal. Paula’s Ibiza’s new collection for this summer is live now on the Loewe website. It features bold tie-dye prints, artisanal baskets perfect for summer picnics, and colourful festival-ready bucket hats, amongst other things.
While some of the price points are still a little high, a Paula Ibiza’s basket bag for £325 is certainly a huge drop compared to Loewe’s £2,100 balloon bags.
So guys, will you be browsing Paula’s latest collection on the Loewe site?
