Rockstar Games has released the trailer for GTA 6, the next chapter in its best-selling Grand Theft Auto franchise, detailing all things cars, crime and action.
In the trailer, we see a female protagonist named Lucia whose story begins in prison, before teaming up with her partner in crime and embarking on high-octane criminal activities, as per GTA fashion. In between the narrative of the as-of-yet-unknown Lucia, we see an in-game recreation of what appears to be Florida, where we see everything from the built-up glamour of Vice City to the crocodile-infested countryside.
A lot has changed in the world since the release of GTA 5, which was released in September 2013. In the trailer, we see these changes recreated, with what appears to be a social media live-stream filming one of the game’s many quirky characters.
In the 90-second trailer, we get a glimpse into the in-game antics before getting a release announcement, telling us the final game will be available in 2025.
Given GTA 5 dropped in September of 2013, it appears that the wait isn’t over yet. Stay tuned for more updates on GTA 6.
