Kiko Kostadinov has gripped the fashion world with its unique approach to building a modern-day uniform. Introducing a women’s line in 2018, headed by CSM graduates and twin sisters Laura and Deanna Fanning, the label produced some of the most sought-after womenswear items, including the Trivia handbag, and now a limited edition art and photography book.

The London label has teamed up with Tokyo-based documentary photographer and painter, E-WAX to produce a 176-page hardcover book titled À Mon Seul Désir (translating to My Only Desire). E-WAX illustrations occasionally meet the photos on the page to frame and graphically mark time, under Daniel Sansavini’s art direction.

As well as levelling up your coffee table, the book will transport you to the Kostadinov brand’s London design studio and the Lycée Henri-IV public secondary school, a location favoured by the brand for its Parisian presentations.

Laura and Deanna Fanning are the twin duo behind the Kiko Kostadinov womenswear label, which has produced some of the sickest womenswear pieces, incorporating jewellery-like detailing into clothing and footwear. The London via Melbourne design duo appeal to an active wearer with an appreciation for classic silhouettes, as seen in the Ribbon Knee boots.

The Kiko Kostadinov Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023 show was lead by Laura and Deanna Fanning and worked with a Parisian based team of creatives including styling by Imruh Asha, hair by Olivier Schawalder and beauty by Cécile Paravina.

The presentation drew on a muted pastel colour palette to contrast with a weathered wooden backdrop. Halter tops were met with interconnected skirts and asymmetrical layering. In typical Kostadinov fashion, utilitarian trousers peeked from the hems of ruffled skirts.

Kiko Kostadinov makes some seriously cool sh*t, and with the brand’s latest book limited to 500 copies, you can be certain it’ll sell out fast.
