Ferragamo is the latest fashion House to present its Holiday 2023 collection and campaign, which sees model cutouts superimposed on a European city scape, as if copy-pasted on there.
This DIY approach to image making was conceptualised by the creative Ferdinando Verderi, with the background city-inspired images by architectural artist, Paolo Ventura, and captured by the famous fashion photographer, Rafael Pavarotti. With all three creative minds together, the Ferragamo campaign highlights its luxurious Holiday offering, juxtaposed with a playful backdrop.
This Holiday season is all about the shimmer, which is why Ferragamo has gone all-hands-on-deck with its silver and gold offering. The House classic ballet flats, the Vara and Varina, are given a silver laminated leather makeover and feature an enlarged bow on its square-shaped toe box.

A few inches higher are the Elina pumps, also seen in a silver leather. The hyper-feminine shoes feature the signature Gancini heel, both in five and ten centimetres options. The Elina comes as a regular heeled shoe, a sandal-style heel with a protective strap, and a mule, first seen on the Fall/Winter 2023 runway, version to satisfy everyone’s wishlists’ most-wanted.
Over on the menswear side, the gold and silver offering is shown more subtly, with metallic toe boxes seen on formal leather shoes. While the Holiday season is a formal occasion for some families, others like to keep it toned down, and Ferregamo’s Nima sneaker, made out of silver fabric, offers the perfect solution for gift unwrapping while sipping on hot chocolates before hitting the traditional post-feast family walk.
The shoe selection is accompanied by a series of bags, all made in similar silver and golden metallic shades. The Wanda, Mini-Hobo, and Top-Handle covers all grounds for anything bag-related this season, and are all complimented by a silver cross-body bag and other small leather goods.
